Meet James

• Home: Playa del Rey, CA

• Work: I direct music videos, commercials, and live event films. Owner / producer at KURSZA agency - which pairs creators with musicians + brands. (And sometimes turns them into roadies.)

• Background: I was a Painter turned photographer turned videographer who was then swallowed into the depths of electronic music. I spent the last 7 years touring and am now planning to spend more time building teams in LA.

• Achievement I’m proud of: Working for the past year documenting video for Skrillex. His tour videos 10 years ago by Liam Underwood has what made me want to work in this field. So that was a cool full circle moment. And I have turned my backyard into a fantastic tiki lounge.

• Currently working on: Planning a trip / filming project away in Alaska (in two weeks) with my bud NGHTMRE!

• I can help with: Directing, producing, sourcing visual creators across many mediums and styles.

• I need help with: We are always looking for new creators to collaborate with. And new clients to partner with.
