Meet Kristin

• Home: Venice, California

• Work: Stem - a music distribution business providing artists and labels with financing, editorial opportunities and payment technology

• Background: I've spent the last 10 years building and leading client engagement teams for venture backed start ups. I currently serve as Stem's VP of Artist & Label Relations. My team and I work to find and sign artists like Brent Faiyaz, Zac Brown Band & bbno$ - providing them with capital, editorial strategy and distribution - ultimately empowering them to run their business independently.

• Achievement I’m proud of: Successfully architecting and bringing to market the Stem Direct membership - a distribution offering that enables artists to retain their ownership while still benefiting from a high touch distribution service. The music distribution landscape is incredibly crowded and the Stem Direct offering fills a real gap for seasoned teams looking to go about building their artists independently.

• Currently working on: Getting more money out the door and in the hands of amazing artists :)
