Meet Monty

• Home: Originally from Glasgow, Scotland. Living between Los Angeles & Nashville.

• Work: Owner of Dubway West Recording Studios / Freelance Audio Engineer.

• Background: Originally from Scotland, I moved to New York City when I was 21, where I spent the next 6 years working my way from intern to chief engineer at Dubway Recording Studios. I spent the following 4 years traveling the globe as front of house engineer for 24-7 Productions. Upon returning, I made the move to LA to construct and manage Dubway's second studio location, Dubway West. Notable artists include: The Lumineers, Mumford And Sons, Liam Payne, The Killers, Seal, Florence And The Machine, Ed Sheeran, Hailee Steinfeld to name a few.

• Achievement I’m proud of: I choose to move 3000 miles away from my family at age 21. It was never going to been easy. However, I still feel really close and connected with them. I make time to speak with family almost on a daily basis.

• Currently working on: I am currently in Nashville working on a project that I think is going to take the industry by storm! Unfortunately, I cannot say much (NDA), but its really exciting!

• I can help with: Studio Time, Rehearsals, Creative Direction, Musical Direction (Live Shows), Mixing, Mastering, Production etc.
